Cactus Semiconductor is excited to announce their first, in a series, of Educational Sessions on Custom Mixed-Signal ASICs. Cactus Semiconductor has earned a reputation as one of the leaders in Analog & Mixed Signal ASIC design, particularly in the areas of ultra-low-power design, power management, and device miniaturization (including medical applications). If you are considering using an ASIC, and want to learn more about exactly what’s involved (the trade-offs and benefits), this session is for you.
Cactus will either host the Educational Session online, or visit your company for an in-person meeting. All Educational Sessions are free.
Below is a sample agenda; however the agenda may be customized based on your team’s needs, experience, and project requirements.
- What is an ASIC?
- Reasons to consider a Custom ASIC design
- Case Studies
- Example 1: BOM Reduction
- Example 2: Power & Size Reduction
- Lessons Learned
- Mitigating Risk and Positioning for Success
The sessions typically last for about 2 hours, and include time for Q & A. Please contact Andy Kelly via email at the below address with any questions or to schedule your session.
